SETH GOTTLIEB | Field Manager, Senior Guide
Seth is an avid outdoors person who grew up immersed in the wilds of Colorado, partaking in backpacking, skiing, and hiking at an early age. He is an Outward Bound graduate, having completed a 28-day expedition as a young teen that laid the groundwork for nature as a teacher and guide.
Seth is a certified wildland firefighter and a wilderness first responder. Additionally, he has lived and worked in the Caribbean for 10 years and travels extensively. He brings his guide experience—300+ days guiding in the deserts of Utah, over 2,500 miles of trails, and served as director of student services at a residential mental health and substance use disorder treatment facility.
Seth has spent fifteen years providing mentorship and guidance to individuals and families as a recovery coach. He is compassionate, kind, and positive with a relatable understanding of adolescents, young adults, and parents. Always up for adventure, Seth is a joy to be around and always works on developing hard and soft skills to better his life and the lives of those around him.
